Research for your study abroad destination:
Study abroad required a lot of research. After end of your high school board examination, you need to start exploring countries where you want to go for higher study. Decide your program to study and budget
You might already know what you want to pursue, or you may be confused among a few popular courses. After having outlined your interests and your budget, you should now come up with a shortlist of programs that tick all the right boxes for you. Language Test
If your first language is not English, you will need to prove that you meet the University’s English language requirements for the degree you have applied for. Each college and university will use a different combination of the methods. They have different rules for what they think enough that you speak English well, and even require different levels of English proficiency. Common options for English language exams are TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test. You need to obtain an acceptable score of English language test that the University or Colleges requires. Offer of acceptance
Getting offer of acceptance from your desired University or College, best way is to apply directly to a college or university. Every educational institutions have their own web portal. Choose your desired program, attach required document and pay a certain admission fee then wait for a reply from the institution. If your application is successfully selected, you’ll receive a letter of offer from your institution. You have to go through the letter carefully because here you will find your student ID, you will know how much tuition fee you need to deposit to secure your admission, and your approximate living expenses per year. You need to know how to send tuition fees to overseas universities through your local bank.
Apply for study permit
All the International students are required to obtain study permit or student visa before departure from your home country. Supporting documents must be translated if they are not written in English. Depending on your situation, you will need some, or all of the following documents below:-
- Your current passport must be valid for the duration of your study abroad.
- Educational documents including Marksheets, Certificates
- Original financial sponsor letter
- Original financial documents including Bank statements, Fixed deposit or Shanchay Patra etc. Make sure your fund in the bank should be atleast 6 month old.
- Asset valuation paper
- Sponsors income source documents which includes employment letter, salary slips, trade license and income tax returns
- Your College and University acceptance letter
- Statement of Purpose (SOP)
- Your language test result
- Tuition Fess payment receipt
