If English isn’t your first language, you’ll need to take an approved English language test such as IELTS. If you have studied in English or your higher secondary exam has good marks, University may exempt you from the English requirements.

UK Student Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Students

UK student visa for Bangladesh passport holders are required to enter the United Kingdom for educational purposes. Therefore, students need to apply for a visa before travelling to the United Kingdom. Once a student secures the confirmation of acceptance to study (CAS) from the University and other required documents are ready, then a student is ready to apply for a visa at the local Visa Application Center (VAC).

Documents required for Tier 4 student visa for Bangladeshi

• A current passport with atleast 6 month validity. You need a blank page in your passport for your visa stamping plus old passport if any.
• Evidence of funds to provide your living expenses for the duration of your course
• Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from your course provider
• Passport-sized color photograph with 45mm high x 35 mm wide. The background should be plain white.
• Tuberculosis test result
• Assessment documentation
• proof of parental or other legal guardian consent if you’re under 18
• written consent for your application from your financial sponsor if you’ve received sponsorship for your course fees and living costs
• Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) clearance certificate (if required)
